Important Update: New dates announced soon.

Dear Love Life Festival Community, Due to severe floods and safety concerns in McGregor, we've made the tough decision to postpone the festival to early 2024. Your safety is our top priority. We appreciate your understanding and look forward to celebrating together in 2024!

About Us

McGregor is a small town where time seems to have stood still. Situated in the foothills of the Rivier-Sonder-End Mountains of the Western Cape, it is a place where the sense of belonging is more important than fitting in. Here, people value you for who you are and not what you represent. McGregor is a town where acceptance is the norm and where diversity is celebrated. It does not matter what your race is or whether you are male or female, gay or straight, cis or trans - you will always find a place here. McGregor is a town where people take care of each other, where everyone is friendly and welcoming, and where the sense of community is strong. In McGregor, you do not need to hide who you are or pretend to be someone else - you just belong.

The mission of the McGregor Film, Music and Art Festival is to celebrate and promote the diverse and dynamic voices of the LGBTQAI+ community through film, music, and art. Our festival aims to foster an inclusive and supportive environment that recognizes the importance of representation and creative expression in promoting societal change, acceptance and normalization. By showcasing the talents and experiences of LGBTQAI+ artists and filmmakers, we hope to inspire and empower individuals to embrace their own unique identities and perspectives.
